Quentin Tarantino, Upper Playground and The Weinstein Company have teamed up to present, The Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds — a benefit for Haiti. A bunch of artists have created their own posters based on Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. The event will be held at The Upper Playground Art Gallery, L.A., and all proceeds from this program will be donated to The American Red Cross to help the victims of the Haiti Earthquake. Each print will be numbered and signed by Quentin Tarantino, in a extremely limited edition of only six prints per poster.

“Un shooting réalisé à Dubaï par le photographe Cédric Delsaux.” I’m not up un my French at the moment but I’m getting ‘Photographer’ from ‘Dubai’ by the name of ”Cédric Delsaux”. I could be way wrong but in any case check these sweet Star Wars image remixes.

WHATWG’s HTML5 initiative is gaining momentum. In a nutshell the idea is to lighten the burden on your machine and it’s connection to the internet and eliminate the necessity for proprietary plug-in-based rich internet application (RIA) technologies such as Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight, and Sun JavaFX.
Check the link to see some HTML5 development, although the protocol is geared for a final W3C recommendation in 2022, you can expect elemental rollouts well before then.

“CG will never be able to fool me…….” Or so I thought.
Pound for pound this is simply one of the finest FULL-CG Animated pieces that has been made to date. The modeling and production so convincing that the creators were forced to release compositing breakdown clips to disprove the many that were questioning the ‘FULL-CG’ tag. If that weren’t enough, the creators were then forced to release a clip detailing the modeling process used to created some of the architecture.
In an age where anyone and everyone can gain access to the tools to create visual content, it takes a little more to impress those who know what they’re looking at. This is ‘truly’ impressive, in every context of the term ‘motion picture’.
Be warned, at first you will not believe.
