Patrick Boivin says; “When I was a kid, there are two things I wanted badly and never got… A real dog and a Kenner AT-AT Walker.” The result is gloriously wonderful.

“CG will never be able to fool me…….” Or so I thought.
Pound for pound this is simply one of the finest FULL-CG Animated pieces that has been made to date. The modeling and production so convincing that the creators were forced to release compositing breakdown clips to disprove the many that were questioning the ‘FULL-CG’ tag. If that weren’t enough, the creators were then forced to release a clip detailing the modeling process used to created some of the architecture.
In an age where anyone and everyone can gain access to the tools to create visual content, it takes a little more to impress those who know what they’re looking at. This is ‘truly’ impressive, in every context of the term ‘motion picture’.
Be warned, at first you will not believe.

British think-tank Demos teamed up with creative agency Airside to create “The Power Gap,” a three-minute visual essay that surveys the history of power structures in Western society and posits an atlernative to the de facto oligarchies that rule most of our lives.
This is typically the sort of stuff that professors in tweed jackets deliver to a classroom full of half-sleeping pupils. Airside knew this and had to come up with a strategy that would actually hold viewers’ interest for the full animation.

Thank you Demos & Airside
