Ron English (one of my fave propaganda artists) droppin science on the streets. As part of the Welling Court Mural Project in Queens, New York, English has slated some artfully subversive anti advertising on some highly recognisable corporate icons.

A blast from the past (2006). As I was bumbling through my inspiration archives I found these pieces by Brian Morris. A couple of bookends that he picked up from a thrift store which he ‘rehashed’ with a good old dependable sharpie. Beautiful.

Quentin Tarantino, Upper Playground and The Weinstein Company have teamed up to present, The Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds — a benefit for Haiti. A bunch of artists have created their own posters based on Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. The event will be held at The Upper Playground Art Gallery, L.A., and all proceeds from this program will be donated to The American Red Cross to help the victims of the Haiti Earthquake. Each print will be numbered and signed by Quentin Tarantino, in a extremely limited edition of only six prints per poster.

One of my favorite artists ‘Banksy’ is doing the Sundance Film Festival rounds with his new feature titled ‘EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP’. I just love this kid, his street art has fashioned a new artistic genre. To be honest I don’t know too much about the piece, but I’m sure he’ll lend the same innovation and perspective to film as he does to his stenciling.
